Directors run The Marathon

The Directors of Eventloos.com are proud to announce that they are pledging their support for OXFAM by signing up to run the 2011 London Marathon.
Directors, Simon and Toby Gunn have committed to raise a minimum of £2,000 each in sponsorship to support the work being carried out by OXFAM.
Toby commented “we decided to support OXFAM as we have first-hand experience of the tremendous work they carry out. Whilst on a recent visit to Tanzania we witnessed how some of the programmes put into place by OXFAM have had life changing effects on the people who live there.” Toby continues, “simple things that we take for granted, training teachers for example, has helped to raise the quality of education for over 100,000 girls and boys in Tanzania. However, the reality for millions of Tanzania’s poorest and most vulnerable communities, is that the struggle to lift themselves out of extreme poverty continues. This is why we want to help.”
To run a marathon is a massive commitment for both Simon and Toby as currently, they would both struggle to run for a bus, they don’t even possess a pair of running shoes between them!
The 2011 London marathon takes place in April so the clock is already ticking, Toby and Simon have 10 months to transform from couch potatoes to marathon runners and raise a fantastic £4,000 for this well deserved charity.
